Esquires is another franchise place that is in many
suburbs in Auckland, and has once or twice been a place for me to get coffee from
when having had a few drinks. Is it any better when I’m sober?
Coffee: What coffee? There’s water in here… (0/5)
Milk: It’s too creamy, but with no strong coffee taste
to run interference, it’s no surprise. (2/5)
Presentation: Solid cup and lid combo. The best thing
I can say about it is when I opened the lid to check the milk it didn’t spill
on me. (3/3)
Verdict: Rubbish.
Overall rating: 5/13.
A coffee that made me email head office. I would have taken it back if it weren’t
such a big drive. Keep in mind 60% of the grade on this cup comes from the cup itself and not the stuff inside it.
